Snooker Sport
Popular cue sport snooker dates back to the late 19th century. Snooker is a game played on a sizable table with a green cloth that emphasises strategy and accuracy. The goal is to collect coloured balls in a specified order to score more points than your opponent.
A cue stick and 21 balls—six coloured balls with different point values and 15 red balls worth one point each—are used to play the game. Prior to going on to the coloured balls, players must attempt to pocket the red balls. Points are awarded for each coloured ball that is potted successfully.
